I hope the weather is cooperating and everyone is making good progress towards capturing footage and editing their video productions!
I thought I would share this BBC video, which does a good job explaining a problem and a solution:
Note that most of the scenes are explained using captions, and only a few scenes have audio narration.
Captions are often more effective than an audio narration, particularly if the speaker has an accent that not all listeners may be familiar with.
Captions are also useful in that they can be produced in several languages, and different versions of the video produced for viewing in different countries.
This tutorial page discusses the need for captions, and various ways to add them, including Camtasia Studio by importing your script file!
