Hello GRUEN participants!

You can view the recording of the web conference on Saturday at: https://gruen.adobeconnect.com/plmsk1m8szhe/

The passcode is: GRUEN

I was happy to see a number of students share their progress designing their group GRUEN.

Presenting is a valuable skill to develop, and a good way to share your perspective.

Note: all groups should be finalizing their list of criteria for designing their GRUEN, and dividing up the design among the active members: typically 1-3 criteria per person.

The latest results of the poll about "Which day do you prefer for a web conference?" is:

  • 65 total votes
  • 30 for Saturdays
  • 21 for Sundays
  • 14 for BOTH Saturdays and Sundays

If you haven't voted yet and want to have your vote be counted, here's link to the poll.

I will plan a web conference on both Saturday May 9, and Sunday May 10, and will continue with this weekly schedule as long as AT LEAST 10 students show up for these optional support meetings!

Meeting time will be 4pm in Spain, 7pm in Pakistan, 7:30pm in India, 7:45pm in Nepal, and 10pm in Hong Kong / Singapore.

Students can login using their phones, tablets, laptops, and desktop PCs or Macs.

Mobile users can download the free Connect app from Adobe, and PC/Mac users can download the app or just load the link in their browsers.  Better to use the app, so you can get a microphone!  Just go in as a Guest, and type the name you want me to call you.

I recommend headphones / ear buds if you want to hear clearly, and to avoid any echos if you want to use voice.  The room is always open, and I highly recommend that you try loading the software and entering the room at least 30 minutes before the conference to troubleshoot any problems.  Once in the room, there's a pull-down menu under Meetings, select Audio Setup Wizard to test that your speakers and microphone work ok.
